Cruise Control Canine Massage

Nicola Dew - Cruise Control Canine Massage

Trained Canine Massage Therapist - Specialist in canine anatomy, physiology, gait analysis, massage techniques and much more. Member of the Canine Massage Guild.

My name is Nicola Dew and I am a canine massage therapist. I help rehabilitate soft tissue and muscular injuries and I also help to support common orthopaedic conditions such as arthritis and hip dysplasia.

Canine massage is a results driven therapy where improvements to a dog’s mobility, activity levels and pain management is often achieved in just 1-3 sessions.

I help a range of dogs from young active sporting dogs recovering from lameness to middle aged dogs that are slowing down and seem old before their time. I work with a lot of senior and arthritic dogs for pain management and those with other orthopaedic and neurological conditions.

Handsome agility dog Monty had been in a collision when playing with a younger dog and injured his shoulder.  Monty responded well to massage and his shoulder felt much freer and supple after 3 massage treatments.  Monty is back to enjoying agility again.

Cheeky chappy Gwyn was showing signs of slowing up and was uncomfortable being handled, so his owners asked me to give Gwyn a couple of massage treatments to help him.

Scrumpy chillin’ after a massage.

My dog Scrumpy completely ruptured his cruciate ligament last year which required surgery and 6 weeks cage rest-  Not easy for a dog let alone a Border Collie! He now gets regular massages from me to help keep his muscles surrounding the joint in great condition and...

Volt and Ruby

Saturday morning was a Border Collie type of morning! Massaging these 2 lovely collies Volt and Ruby. I also spent time with gorgeous 10 month old collie Giggle getting her used to massage treatments. Then back home to my own collie...

I had the pleasure of massaging this talented girlie Piixie last month. Piixie and her owner Lucie have just returned from Italy representing Great Britain in a European agility competition!

2nd massage with this lovely lad helping his arthritis and sore back.  Lovely to hear from his owner that he has lots of energy again and is trying to play with their puppy.

This is Ruby. She is an agility dog and her owner has arranged for me to give her a couple of massage treatments in preparation for the agility season.

This is Mia who is 16 and a half. I have been massaging her to help her in her twilight years and help her areas of overcompensation as her back legs are struggling. She is off to the Isle of Skye next week with her owner.

We cover Somerset, North Somerset, and Bristol!

Weston-super-Mare, Worle, Clevedon, Nailsea, Backwell, Portishead, Yatton, Burnham-on-Sea, Cheddar, Churchill, Congresbury, Winscombe, Gordano, Wraxall, Banwell, Bridgwater, Highbridge, and surrounding towns!

Nicola made a huge difference to my dogs, and left them feeling much looser and freer. Tia had some issues which were resolved through the massage, and their treatments definitely helped them to run successfully through their week in Jersey, resulting in a collection of placings. Definitely recommended as part of your dogs care.
